Aliteration, aliteration, aliteration Another piece I published over a generation ago

Soft spoken whispers sway across the sand
Their shimmering froth fashions brief opalescent pools
Which drain back into the ocean depths
Deep concealed reserves swell up and surge forth
The big booming bath bellows towards the shore
It bounds over the craggy shoreline and breaks
Into shattered phrases, harsh and scolding
Scattered words, senselessly speaking,
It disperses into soft spoken whispers rushing to the shore

I like the way you transformed waves into words. Have you thought about expanding the poem to reveal what the whispers and words are saying? or is senseless and scattered the point--a snipet of mood maybe

Excellent. I'm a big fan of alliteration. CM
